Galleria SWING is pleased to present Frozen #1, the new collection by Korea-born, London-based designer Jungin Lee (Gwang-ju 1985). The project Frozen was presented for the first time in 2012 at the graduation show in MA Product Design at Royal College of Art in London. Since then, it has been developed and shown at Dutch Design Week, Milan Design Week and London Design Festival.

The exhibition “Wegner : just one good chair”, opening on the 3rd of April 2014, marks the 100-year anniversary of Hans J. Wegner’s birth. Wegner (1914-2007) was one of history’s most prolific designers.

The Chapel of Notre Dame du Haut in Ronchamp, France—an architectural gem and one of Le Corbusier’s best-known buildings—was vandalised on 17 January. Following a break-in, a concrete collection box was thrown outside and one of the stained-glass windows, also designed by the Modernist architect and the only one on the chapel to carry his signature, was broken.
