Kolonihavehus by Tom Fruin
Copenhagen
Tom Fruin's latest work, 'Kolonihavehus', was installed in Copenhagen recently. Using a plethora of found Plexiglas – roughly 1,000 reclaimed scraps of the material – Fruin’s Kolonihavehus takes its name and inspiration from Copenhagen’s ubiquitous kolonihavehus; a modest garden shed intended to provide state workers with refuge from the city’s cramped living conditions.
