Architecture & Design Film Festival announces Los Angeles Expansion

After a highly successful fifth edition in New York City, the acclaimed Architecture & Design Film Festival is going bicoastal! From March 12-16, 2014, the Los Angeles Theatre Center will host the nation's largest film festival exploring art, architecture, design, fashion and urban planning, and their prevalence in our day-to-day lives.
The five-day event will be a true Los Angeles affair, with 30 feature-length and short films from around the world plus a a series of intimate Q&As with the personalities behind the films including Kyung Lee & Eugene Tssui (TELOS: The Fantastic World of Eugene Tssui), Aimee Madsen (Paolo Soleri: Beyond Form), Christine O'Malley (If You Build It), Doug Pray (Levitated Mass), as well as five lively panel discussions with today's leading design critics, architects, and educators.
The festival will also include a Hennessey + Ingalls pop-up bookshop, special receptions, and much more! Highlights include films on iconic designers such as Paul Smith, Tadao Ando and Massimo and Lella Vignelli and the world premiere of a film on maverick architect Eugene Tssui. Others pay homage to California's rich architectural and design heritage including The Oyler House, Coast Modern and Levitated Mass.
