Their first show, "in power 10," exhibits designer Arik Levy's remarkable re-definition project. With "in power 10" Levy revisits and reinterprets the Quake table, one of his first designs for Molteni&C.

DesignSmash hosts its inaugural party Saturday November 20 '10, inviting designers to a drink and a challenge; to design a product in 4 hours.
While the designers are busy preparing their future products to be laser-cut, DesignSmash invites spectators to join in the fun and vote on their favourite outcomes from the night.
With Sales hovering just above estimated value, the Shahn Collection sold through all of the lots listed in the auction. While the auction itself was predominately fine art, DeTnk was watching the few design pieces.

Spazio Rossana Orlandi

The exhibition "Home from Home" is the result of the past months designers residency at Spazio Rassana Orlandi. The design duo JAMESPLUMB were invited by Rossana Orlandi to Milan from October 16 '10, where they re-worked their personal archive of vintage and industrial furniture. The show exhibits the new collection they have created during this time along with recent pieces from their London atelier.

Since the 1990s, New York–based artist and landscape designer Paula Hayes (b. 1958) has produced botanical sculptures—organically shaped vessels made from blown glass, silicone, or acrylic and filled with a rich variety of plant life—that expand upon the classic terrarium, both through their imaginative containers and the microcosmic universes within.

Opening today, the RCA secret is an exhibition of around 2,500 original post-card sized works from established and emerging artists. Each postcard is sold for £45, however the buyer is not aware of the postcards creator until after the sale is completed.

On November 26 '10 Christie's will be hosting an auction of design including many collectables by notable french designers. DeTnk is watching the ten lots by French designer and artist Phillipe Hiquily.

Scott, Rich & Victoria is the inter-disciplinary design partnership of New Zealanders
Scott Fitzsimons and Richard Hartle, who began working together in London in late 2007.
The pair later combined their talents to establish their international creative studio in September 2009, based in both London and Auckland, accessible to international manufacturers across Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions.

To Celebrate its 10th anniversary the Tiffany Foundation donated $1.25 million to the Royal Parks Foundation creating the Tiffany - Across the Water program, which focuses on creating ornamental drinking foundations throughout London's eight royal parks.
In June 2010, the Royal Parks Foundation launched a global design competition, requesting submissions for innovative new drinking fountain ideas. After receiving applications from 125 different countries, the Jury have selected two british designers, Moxon Architects and Robin Monotti Architects with Mark Titman.
