Annual RCA Secret
12 - 20 November '10
London
Royal College of Art
Opening today, the RCA secret is an exhibition of around 2,500 original post-card sized works from established and emerging artists. Each postcard is sold for £45, however the buyer is not aware of the postcards creator until after the sale is completed.
This year’s exhibition includes contributions from artists Grayson Perry, Sir Peter Blake, Tracey Emin, Olafur Eliasson, Jake Chapman, Yoko Ono, Sir Anthony Caro, John Baldessari, Franz West, photographer David Bailey, filmmaker Mike Leigh, graphic designer Milton Glaser, illustrator Quentin Blake, fashion designers Sir Paul Smith, Mary Quant and Andrew Fionda, architect John Pawson, designers Ron Arad, Sir Ken Adam, Sir James Dyson and Ross Lovegrove.
In past years the RCA Secret has caused excited collectors to setup a temporary camp out side the RCA's South Kensington campus; waiting in line to get their first choice.
You can check out the postcards here or head to South Kensington and check out the exhibition for yourself.
