Scandinavian Design Auction at Wright

This month has been full of design auctions from around the world. On Thursday November 18 '10 Wright will host a sale of Scandinavian design in Chicago. As usual with Wright auctions, we have a large selection of lots to look over.
Finn Juhl has a selection of 13 pieces with an average estimate of $5,690. Of his work on sale, we recommend the rare sofa estimated at $10,000 - $15,000.
Also to note is the "Valet Chair" by Hans Wegner estimated at $7,000 - $9,000.
Lastly, DeTnk recommends Ilmari Tapiovaara's "Pirkka lounge chair" estimated at $2,000 - $3,000.
On May 25 '10 Wright hosted their last Scandinavian Design Auction bringing in a total of $1,257,063 in sales. With 70 out of 257 lots bought in, it will be interesting to see how this November's auction will fare with bidders.
