To coincide with the opening of the new courtyard the V&A has programmed REVEAL, a free, week-long public festival running from 30 June to 7 July 2017.
What is Luxury? aims to interrogate and expand understandings of luxury by presenting exceptional examples of contemporary design and craftsmanship alongside conceptual projects which interrogate fundamental ideas of luxury, its production and future.

As part of the London Design Festival at the V&A 2014 thought leader, Branko Lukic - will present a discussion entitled 'Beyond Design: Creating Emotional Relevance.
"The first-ever 3D-printed gun is now on show at London's Victoria and Albert (V&A) museum. Dubbed "The Liberator" by its creator Cody Wilson, several examples of the gun were purchased by the art and design museum recently, and went on show September 14th, the first day of the London Design Festival.
