PAD stands for Pavillion des Arts et du Design, for twenty years or so staring in Paris in the Tuileries gardens at the footsteps of the Louvre. A very French affair with design connecting with and elevating itself to the position of high art destined for the connoisseurial french market.
French Craft Collective, a one-day program featuring a selection of emerging and established talent in the French craft and design sectors, was held yesterday at the Institut Français in London.

“French designer Olivier Gagnère has an original place in contemporary design. He breaks with the conventions of geometry and evokes a new balance that gives his creations a unique personality. Carpenters Workshop Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition ‘Sassi e Legni’ by the renowned Italian designer Andrea Branzi from October 2nd - December 22rd in the London venue of Carpenters Workshop Gallery. Architect and designer Branzi is known for his intellectual approach to design.

Ready Made Go returns to Ace Hotel London for its third edition during London Design Festival this September. Curated by Laura Houseley of Modern Design Review magazine, the exhibition will launch a series of specially commissioned products by London-based designers. The objects range from ceramics to furniture and all are for permanent use in Ace Hotel London.
To coincide with the opening of the new courtyard the V&A has programmed REVEAL, a free, week-long public festival running from 30 June to 7 July 2017.
After nine successful years in Shoreditch, Gallery FUMI has moved to Mayfair. At its new space on Hay Hill, FUMI will host an ambitious programme of exhibitions to showcase works by leading and emerging contemporary designers and artists.
