As the grande finale to this year’s Design Academy graduation exhibition nine examinees of the IM Mastercourse have been invited to present their work at droog at home in Amsterdam.
As part of his 'Because We Can' series of domestic objects, Freddie Yauner has designed 'The Moaster', the highest popping toaster in the world.
His project aims to produce extreme or superlative products, using slogans such as 'the biggest, the best, the fastest', as a critique of the current state of design and consumerism.
Working on the premise that, "Everyone loves it when a toaster has a good pop to it," Freddie Yauner has created 'The Highest Popping Toaster in the World', or ‘The Moaster’ as the culmination of his 'Because We Can' series of domestic objects.
