Each bead in the necklace is 5 minutes. The whole necklace is one solar day. The orange and red ones represent the whole hours. As the wheel turns, one bead falls off and drops down the string every 5 minutes. To tell the time you count the beads from either the silver bead (midnight) or the golden bead (noon) to the last bead that fell off the wheel.

Simple runner attachments that allow a drawer to be added to any flat surface.
The drawer is supported by two runners that are inserted into diagonal cuts, made with a power saw, in the surface of an existing table or desk.
These vessels are formed through a process called Diffusion Limited Aggregation (DLA) which has been modelled in a virtual environment.
DLA is usually studied as an example of fractal growth processes such as branching, lightning, snowflakes, mineral deposits, and coral. Here, the basic principles have been used to create simulated models of root systems.
The reduced form contains a play of different angles of view, a fine geometric line from in front turns into a flat band of light by changing position. Ceramics as material of the socket or in the form of an enamel loop combines the features of the classic ceramic socket of the first electric bulb with present LED technology. Wood as socket or as band gives the lamp organic warmth.
The single modules can be arranged playfully in various ways to create individual storage room for shoes and other things. Each TETRIS is handmade in Switzerland and therefore recognizable as an individual item.

Aran Rug is handknit, using enormous custom made knitting needles, from the wool of 18 merino sheep.
It is the result of Christien's 'slow design' approach, which traces each item back to the sheep that produced the wool, creating an intimate connection with every stage of the making of a design.
