Paul Cocksedge is a designer’s designer, artfully reimagining the world for us to make it a more thought-provoking and pleasing place to be. Punters can get a Cocksedge fix through his eponymous shop, which sells such items as a loudspeaker for a smartphone configured from a vinyl LP, and a spherical Styrene lamp made of heated-shrunk coffee cups).

On Saturday the 27th of August, Paul Cocksedge will be at the Round House in Camden transforming 12" vinyl records into elegant loudspeakers used to amplify sound from smartphones.
For those of us who missed Paul's holiday installation "Kiss" last year in Milan, we have been granted a second chance to kiss a partner, friend, or maybe even a stranger under thousands of blinking lights!
Back in December we posted some images of a festive and interactive light installation called ‘KISS’ by internationally acclaimed designer Paul Cocksedge.

As part of the Light Exhibition Design competition, Paul Cocksedge has created a festive installation using LED lights, which is now on view at the Galleria Vittoria Emanuele II in Milan.
From the edition of 77 unique pieces. Underside of each light signed in
marker with ‘P.C’ and ’35 / 77’, ‘73 / 77’ and ’74 / 77’ respectively
and underside of base incised with ‘Light As Air/Installation exhibited
at Rabih Hage./Limited edition of seventy seven light
sculptures/designed and produced by Paul Cocksedge.’, with artist’s
signature and ‘May 2006’.
