The mission statement of Fermob is to design and make outdoor furniture which compliments it’s surroundings, without impacting on the environment.
For several decades the traditionally trained craftsmen and Gilles Delfine have diligently sourced the best mosaic manufacturers and the premium marble and stone producers throughout the world in order to apply them to their decorative projects in France and abroad.
Inspired by the beautiful haute- couture houses of France, Henryot & Cie are one of the few remaining workshops specialising in hand embroidery and lace-making.
Image was established in 1983 by Christophe Isaac. The company specialises in two particular fields; the first being the manufacture of bathroom basins and worktops in Iroko wood (a top range timber); the second being the manufacture of countertops and furniture in Corian (a natural mineral-blended acrylic rein which form a solid, seamless, durable material).

Here’s a look at the innovative ‘Fold Plug’ by British design student Min-Kyu Choi that has just won the Brit Insurance Design of the Year 2010. Choi beat over 90 international nominees with his reinterpretation of the standard British pin plug to win the coveted prize.
