Whether or not you are planning on making it to Object Rotterdam this year, we will make sure that you know the essentials.

Object Rotterdam has always been more 'intimate' than other design fairs. This year, out of the twenty exhibitors, I have my eye on the following:

Victor Hunt
Belgium

Belgium's self-proclaimed foremost contemporary 'designart' dealer is stepping up to their title showing works from Kwangho Lee.

FAT galerie
France

The FAT galerie are making sure that we get our daily dose of Raw Edges; with a series of felt chairs with lurid titles such as 'Tabouret Big Fat Ass'.

Vivid Gallery
Netherlands

Vivid Gallery seem to be representing their recent show of Joost van Bleiswijk and Kiki van Eijk. A great opportunity for anyone who missed it at their gallery space.

the Zuiderzeemuseum
Netherlands

The Zuiderzeemuseum has caught my attention. They focus on what one could call design minded projects, not products. Will be interested to see what they are showing.

Events In Rotterdam

If you are around I would definitely check out ONGEKEND Young Masters @ Auction on the 13th at 3pm. It is a great chance to bid on recent graduates and emerging talents from the Netherlands.
