PAGE Three Exhibition
January 20 - February 12 '11
London
221 Brompton Road SW3 2EJ
Continuing on from the success of PAGE 1 and PAGE 2 in 2010, The Page, a new concept of artist management in London, is pleased to present PAGE Three. PAGE Three will exhibit a selection of mixed media art works by Paul Robinson, Anssi Sojakka and Graham Carrick. PAGE Three is a reflection of each of the artist’s continued development.
PAUL ROBINSON worked extensively on the ‘Pink Bear‘ project first launched in Summer 2010, extending it to personal relationships in real life. His interpretation allows
his eclectic style of patterns to emerge once again. This evolution will find a new exciting revelation to visitors of Page Three.
ANSSI SOJAKKA new paintings are emotional reflections and investigations. Although Sojakka’s work switches from abstract to more representational work, all the images have a sense that they are not representing what they seem to be, but in fact are dealing with something else.
Mysterious and dreamy looking figures dominate the canvas to bring us in to a completely new world.
GRAHAM CARRICK ‘s paintings reflects on an experience or thought grabbed, analysed and retold in the artists voice. His method relies on memory, preferring recollection to directly working from source material. As a result of this process viewers of his paintings are confronted by images that seem familiar but sometimes difficult to place, like a half remembered dream.
