Ka Lamp
'The Ka Lamp' by Daniel García Sánchez is an ecological and modular lighting design, made of beech wood and elastic cord, which, says the designer "conveys warmth and tradition but also freshness and a very careful design."
The materials and design used in 'Ka Lamp' allow it to be distinctly manipulable - the focus turns on its axis as it supports the arm, giving the product a total freedom to distribute the light.
As part of the product's ecological focus, no glues or adhesives are used in the construction, and it's modular nature means it can be transported using very little space, to be assembled by the user.
Here, Daniel García Sánchez studio present a fun video showing the construction process.
