450 West 15 Street New York
Rizzoli and Archivia Books are hosting a book signing and reception at Phillips de Pury & Company.
Written by Mariuccia Casadio and edited by Barnaba Fornasetti, "Fornasetti: The Complete Universe" features 2,800 illustrations, many never before published, from the infamous designer Piero Fornasetti.
Barnaba Fornasetti will be in conversation with Mariuccia Casadio and Dan Sherer, Lecturer, Yale School of Architecture.
Fornasetti's works are an essential to any contemporary design collection. At a recent Christie's auction his piece "Unique Coromandel Commode" sold for £55,250, twice the estimated value.
Fornasetti has successfully created work across multiple mediums including: paintings, sculptures and etchings, furniture, graphics, textiles, glass, screens, trays, and ceramic. He has created a signature style, often using black and white images of female faces, that has been celebrated throughout the creative industries.
If you can't make it to the book signing on Saturday, you can still get a copy of "Fornasetti: The Complete Universe" from our bookstore.
