Stephen H. Kanner: A Retrospective

The Stephen H. Kanner, FAIA retrospective exhibition takes place at the A+D Architecture and Design Museum, a museum that Stephen Kanner founded and ran himself. 

Kanner is known for his accomplishments with the museum as well as with Kanner Architects.  A third generation architect, Stephen was known for his imprint on the Los Angeles urban landscape.  Kanner architects completed 150 projects under his leadership, leading him to worldwide recognition for his talent.

As co-founder of the Architecture and Design Museum Los Angeles and serving as its president, he was able to dedicate a museum to progressive architecture and design throughout the world.  His recent death made this exhibition all the more significant, and many of its proceeds will go to the Stephen Kanner Memorial Fund.
