On the 26th of October, Christie’s London will host a sale of 20th Century Decorative Art & Design. Their sale gives design collectors an opportunity to view and purchase many mid to early 20th century pieces.

The afternoon sale of 20th Century Decorative Art & Design spans a wider time frame offering pieces from the turn of the 20th century up until today. The selection is primarily dominated by early to mid-century pieces with a focus on Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles, but there are several interesting pieces from different periods.

Highlights include a unique example of the famous Tiffany Studios Peony lamp shade estimated at £70,000-£90,000, and the striking ‘Moby Dick’ chaise by Alberto Rosselli ca. 1969 estimated at £10,000-£15,000.
