For this year’s London Design Festival, Central London has prepared some unique exhibitions to celebrate creativity in the city.  Iconic and unique venues have been selected, and offer their own twist to the Festival.

The Hospital Club in Covent Garden presents Martha Freud’s first collection of lighting, furniture, and tableware in its unique space designed specifically for creative purposes.  Freud’s pieces use light and shadows to emphasize depth and the relationships and interactions with their surroundings. The exhibition titled Focus is worth seeing.

Liberty of London is also participating by showcasing a new collection of sofas in collaboration with Swedish fashion brand ACNE.  Inspired by Carl Malmsten and reinterpreted by ACNE Creative Director Johnny Johannson.  The sofas have been moulded to create new sculptural forms.  Visit Liberty to view ACNE’s collection.
