Finnish Institute: Hel Yes!

Hel Yes! Is a temporary restaurant and exhibition imagined and realized by a team of Finnish designers and food visionaries.  The group is led by Antto Melasniemi and Mia Wallenius and Klaus Haapaniemi.

The restaurant will be open in a former depot in East London and will serve as a gathering place for people and ideas for the two weeks during the London Design Festival.

The restaurant and exhibition will showcase the best of Finnish food and design.  Partnering with Finnish design studios Iittala and Artek for customized furniture, lighting, and tableware.  This exhibition has been considered all the way down to the servers uniforms, having been designed by Fashion EAST designer Heikki Salonen.
