"Tools for Living" is a book about all the ultimate things designed for the home ranging from knives and pots and pans, to door handles, office furniture, and garden tools.  

This book presents an overview and history of the most well designed objects with superior performance and higher aesthetic standards.   

The book is a comprehensive sourcebook featuring each design, many of which are still in production, with full descriptions and historical information.  The book explains why good design is not only important by compulsory for sustainability as well as aesthetic and economic reasons as well.
