The Promised Land

In its final month, the Jimmie Durham exhibition titled Universal Miniature Golf (The Promised Land) is being showcased at Glasgow Sculpture Studios.  The exhibition is the outcome of a three-month Production Residency.

This Residency was an experience for Durham to work alongside over fifty studio holders and members to create his designs with generations of artists who have influenced each other.

Jimmie Durham, an American sculptor created this exhibition with a unique opportunity for dialogue and cultural exchange, and to use ready-made objects to create new, innovative design pieces.
