The 11th annual Moma/P.S.1 Young Architects Program will open its summer exhibition June 30. The objective for the Young Architects Program is to provide visitors with an outdoor summer escape from the urban intensity of New York City by making use of the pre-existing space and available materials.
Solid Objective - Idenburg Liu won the competition with their design “Pole Dance”, which was conceived around the themes of sustainability, recycling, and reuse. “Pole Dance” will feature groups of 25-foot poles, hammocks, pulls, misters, plants, a net, and many other recycled and sustainable objects.
