The Museu da Casea Brasileira in São Paulo, Brazil is currently hosting an exhibition of recent work by the renowned, environmentally-conscious designer Carlos Motta.
A local of São Paulo, Motta is best known for his use of salvaged driftwood in the creation of his furniture. This exhibition presents a selection of recent work by Motta constructed from pieces of wood and iron salvaged from demolition sites.
The show runs from June 8 to July 4 and demonstrates the way in which Motta is able to give these discarded materials new life and purpose through his designs.
