On May 7, the MARTa museum in Herford, Germany will open an exhibition of designs, sketches, building plans, models, and photographs by Austrian architect Richard Neutra (1892-1970). Neutra is best known for his iconic villas in the United States that helped shape the conception of modern American architecture.
This show focuses on Neutra’s less well-known European projects from the final decade of his life, shedding light on a forgotten period of his oeuvre.
