TALK: Conversation between Alice Rawsthorn and Zoë Ryan

On the 23rd of March the Architecture & Design Society of the Art Institute of Chicago will host a conversation between renowned design critic, Alice Rawsthorn, and the Art Institute’s own Design Curator, Zoë Ryan.
Alice Rawsthorn writes critically for the New York Times and International Herald Tribune. She was director of the Design Museum in London from 2001-2006 and has published several esteemed works on design. Zoë Ryan is the Art Institute of Chicago’s Neville Bryan Curator of Design. Since her appointment in 2006 she has built the museum’s first collection of contemporary design and organized a number of solo exhibitions of cutting-edge designers including Konstantin Grcic.
For this event, the two will hold an interesting discussion about what design has to offer us now and in the future.
