‘Most Curious’ at Tracey Neuls
17th February - 30th June ’10
Marylebone Lane
London
Now on view at renowned footwear designer, Tracey Neul’s shop in London is a collaborative exhibition of work by Neul’s herself and contemporary artist Nina Saunders.
The installation was organized as a celebration of the 150th anniversary of the acclaimed British textile company, Sanderson, and the result is quite visually fascinating.
The collaboration centers around a sculptural chaise by Saunders, which seemingly melts into the floor. While hanging from the ceiling, is a selection of shoes by Neul’s. All of the objects on display in the shop are constructed using vintage Sandersan textiles.
