On view through the 10th January ’10
Art Since the Summer of ’69 Gallery
Chrystie Street, New York
‘Objects, Furniture and Patterns’ is an exhibition of interesting domestic objects from a selection contemporary artists, which is currently on show at the tiny 6x16 ft gallery, Art Since the Summer of ’69 in New York City.
Among the variety of items on view is a yellow chair with Day-Glo webbing by Mary Heilmann, wallpaper by Steve Keister, and an special ‘Off the Wall’ chair by Kiyoshi Kanai that has been printed with a photograph of a townhouse in a way that ‘invites you to sit on the stoop’ as Penelope Green cleverly points out in her article on the exhibition for the New York Times.
