Speakers from Nissan Event: 'East meets West'

For those who missed out, Nissan has posted videos online of their exclusive ‘East meets West’ event held during this year’s London Design Fesival.

The event was organized to coincide with Nissan’s first ever exhibition at the London Design Festival and featured a selection of speakers that include some of the world’s top design influencers such as Suzanne Lee (Senior Research Fellow, St Martins School of Art & Design), Mike Faulkner (Director, D-Fuse), Daljit Singh (Creative Director, Digit), Francois Pachet (Researcher, Sony Science Lab), Nick Talbot (Director of Product Design, Seymour Powell), and Alfonso Albaisa (VP, Nissan Design Europe).

For the exhibition itself, Design Europe opened its doors to London's rarely seen automotive design studios to create an exhibition which included a series of installations from artists and designers around the world, all of whom shared their interpretations of 'East meets West'. Each installation expresses the cultural and visual transformation of a journey from one city to another: Mumbai to Paris, or from country to another: Russia to Spain.
