Craft Punk Design Miami @ Salone del Mobile 2009
Design Miami partnered with fashion house FENDI to curate an event of live design performances. Emerging designers were invited to work within traditional, or hand-made, craft methods using discarded materials from the FENDI production process.
In a true collaboration between the worlds of design and fashion, the invited designers which included, Simon Hasan, Nacho Carbonell, Peter Margiold, Raw-Edges, Studio Glithero, and Sarah Becker, demonstrated their creation process reinventing the way a process or material is typically employed.
