Atelierdorp: A Design Family

DesignGuide.Tv has just released a fascinating new video on Atelierdorp, a unique design ‘workshop’ in Eindhoven that’s more akin to a design family than any traditional Atelier.

Located in an abandoned church in the city of Eindhoven. Atelierdorp was founded 3 years ago with the aim of providing space for designers to work. Since its inception the Atelier has evolved into what can best be called a design family, fostering an environment where everyone gets the chance to explore their true creative potential.

Not a bad idea. Maybe this is why it seems that Dutch designers are always that slight bit ahead of the game.
