For the first time TEFAF Maastricht will have a section dedicated exclusively to modern design and applied arts.
Introduced as a means to strengthen TEFAF’s appeal in a field which continues to attract a growing number of collectors, museum curators as well as professional decorators, TEFAF Design will feature eight of the world’s leading design dealers including Sebastian + Barquet, Galerie Eric Philippe, and Galerie Ulrich Fiedler.
On show will also be a a collection of furniture and furnishings from an early 20th century country house designed by the famous Dutch architect H. P. Berlage. On loan from the collection of the Museum Jachthuis St Hubertus in the Netherlands, these objects have never been exhibited outside the country house before.
