London based design recruitment agency Represent has challenged the design community to develop fresh and eco-friendly solutions for wrapping gifts during this holiday season.
Every year in the UK we use more than 8,000 tonnes of wrapping paper for our Christmas presents, the equivalent to 50,000 trees. And sticky tape, being non-biodegradable, prevents us from reusing those mountains of wrapping paper.
The twenty top ideas for a totally tape-free way to wrap a Christmas gift will be featured on their website and also in the ‘advent’ window at Represent, with a different display daily throughout December.
