RCA Secret, now in its 15th year running, is an annual contemporary art exhibition and fundraising sale.
This year’s event features over 2500 donated postcard-sized works from established artists and designers, such as Anish Kapoor, Olafur Eliansson, Sara Fenelli and Tracey Emin, alongside works by up-and-coming students from the College.
The cards will be sold to the public at a one-day sale with every postcard costing just £40. The secret is that each work is signed on the back, so you won’t know who the artist or designer is until you have have already bought it.
All monies raised from the sale go to the RCA Fine Art Student Award Fund.
So if you would like to try your luck at what has to be one of the cheapest ways of acquiring a masterpiece, or you’re simply interested in picking up a work of art regardless of the name attached to it, why not head down to the RCA and help support emerging artists.
