'Echo' : Tony Marsh at Hedge Gallery

Hedge Gallery presents new sculpture by artist Tony Marsh, whose exhibition entitled Echo is comprised of twelve ceramic works which propose a contemporary point of view in relationship to the deep, rich, pan-cultural traditions and assorted histories in ceramic art from which Marsh’s work is inspired.
In this new body of vessels, marsh has moved aesthetically between the coolly rational intricately perforated works that are the product of a methodical methodology and what the artist characterises as the less rational aggregate and heavily textured works that appear to be the result of natural process.
