Matters of Sensation is a group exhibition featuring works by fourteen architecture studios in the United States.
With a focus on architectural forms that induce sensation, the exhibition presents a series of voluptuous productions that aspire to elicit a heightened awareness of our material environment.
Through a playful manipulation of materials, and their ability to create diverse sensations in a space, the exhibition focuses on the effects produced by textures and surfaces, addressing the way beauty, ornament, and pattern have found their way back into contemporary design.
