Studio Open : Wipe Your Feet

As part of the Melbourne Design Festival, this Friday sees design studios across the city open their doors for public consumption. Visitors will be invited to take a look at behind-the-scenes design in practice, with studios of all sizes and disciplines taking part in the day long event.

Exhibitors' work will cover the breadth of the field, with everything from graphic design and interiors through to fashion design and jewellery.

Rather than continually seeing the commercial end results, this event offers a unique insight into the processes involved in the construction of products. It is a one-off opportunity to catch designs and ideas in the making.

Studios will be open from 11am - 3pm, however appointments with each studio are essential.
