Design Miami/ Market Offers a Unique Retail Experience at the Global Forum for Design/

The inaugural Design Miami/ Market brings a new kind of product to the fair, with a fresh approach to retail offered by J.Crew, LIZWORKS, Dean & DeLuca and ARTBOOK.
This first edition is designed and produced by local designer Emmett Moore to remind visitors of an outdoor market with hints of South Beach permeating the kiosks, made with whitewashed wood and blue vinyl strapping reminiscent of beach loungers.
J.Crew's capsule collection, created in collaboration with Design Miami/, features accessories and gifts showcasing Miami-inspired illustrations specially created by acclaimed illustrator Pierre Le-Tan for the fair's 2015 identity. The capsule collection will also be available at select J.Crew stores in London, Paris, Hong Kong, Miami and at Jcrew.com.
LIZWORKS, founded by Liz Swig, creates magic in the unexpected pairings of artists and brands. In 2015 LIZWORKS commissioned Brazilian artist Vik Muniz to create Happy View, a lenticular photograph mounted in a Lucite cabinet. In a nod to both Rene Magritte and the exuberance of Muniz’s native Brazil, the print depicts nine pairs of colorful sunglasses floating in the clouds. The cabinet contains a set of removable glasses designed by Muniz and produced by Selima Optique. For more information, visit lizworks.net.
