Inside the Line Hotel, in Los Angeles' Koreatown, is celebrity chef Roy Choi’s restaurant, the Commissary, a new produce-focused restaurant. Located on the second-floor roof deck of The Line Hotel, the 1,700 square-foot greenhouse of a restaurant is impressive even for LA’s rooftop scene.
Designed by Venice based Sean Knibb of Knibb Design the greenhouse’s lofty ceilings are adorned with hanging ivy, ferns, and cyclamens. “The mix of plants changes monthly, as we rotate the plants around the hotel,” says Knibb. Communal tables are surrounded by topiaries, cascading ivy, and palms.
