Peter Pichler took the challenge to build a luxury holiday home for a client who lives in a 60’s farmhouse close to Bolzano in Italy.
The challenge was to build a structure which enables guests to fully enjoy the experience of living in the middle of nature while keeping their own independence and privacy. The house floats on a base above the ground – lightness and light seem to be the watchwords of this structure.
The house opens east with a pristine glass facade reflecting the spectacular view of the Dolomites mountains and making the house almost invisible by reflecting back the landscape.
