Renowned artist Do Ho Suh’s latest exhibition at The Contemporary in Austin, Texas is a depiction of his scale and site-specific art, taking inspiration from his personal biography.
Since he left Seoul after graduating, his art has often been influenced by migration which is manifested through architecture and subtle sculptures.
These transparent homes are as ambivalent in their expression as they are playful and wistful, showing the residences of Suh’s life and his understanding of the physical home.
