Concert Hall in Blaibach by Peter Haimerl
Interior Architecture and Design
Located in the middle of the square in the city of Blaibach, Germany stands the Concert Hall designed by architect Peter Haimerl.
Haimerl's design brings forth a place to celebrate culture while maintaining the visual integrity and sound isolation for the surrounding neighborhood.
Haimerl's design teases visitors with a relatively small entrance for a much larger musical chamber hidden inside; the Concert Hall descends into the ground displaying fractal-like concrete panels for great visual effect.
The overlapping plates are skillfully lighted using led technology, making for an exquisite illusion; like daylight leaking through small fissures on the wall.
