Corten House, Sao Paulo by Michael Kogan
Interior Architecture and Design
Corten House located in Sao Paulo, Brazil is the brain child of architect, Michael Kogan. From the outside, the house is largely characterized by the exterior facade made of Corten steel. The weathered rust-like texture contrasted with the stone, vertical wooden strips and glass creates immediate visual interest.
A modern style is more fully revealed upon entering the house. In addition to an impressive array of modern furniture, a sleek and minimalist interplay of glass, wood and stone continues throughout. Four folding doors that completely open out to the deck complete, this blurs the interior and exterior, creating a sense of internalised nature into the house.
