Toni Grilo has designed two new pieces for Riluc : the Vibe side table and the Wing wall shelf, as well as new finishes for the Line chair and the Mousse table. Riluc is a Portuguese manufacturer highly skilled with regard to metal used throughout his collection. The resulting effect is a range with a very strong image. Here the Franco-Portuguese designer and artistic director reveals the full potential of his direct, clear and solid design, often in a single material, with radical pieces, bordering on minimalist extravagance.
Vibe side table
A vibration is formed by three concentric circles mirroring the effect of stones thrown into a pool of liquid metal.
Wing wall shelf
A flapping wing fixed in metal for wall-mounted storage.
Line chair
Line pushes the definition of chair to its minimum with the maximum sized stainless steel tubes: the material traditionally used for 20th century furniture design.
Mousse Table
A small agglomeration of polished metal for a mistakenly precarious suspended side table.
