'Seeing Glass' by Brit Van Nerven and Sabine Marcelis

'Seeing Glass,' presented during Dutch Design Week 2013, is a series of glass objects created in collaboration by Rotterdam-based designers Brit Van Nerven and Sabine Marcelis.

Through the use of materials, colour and layering, unexpected effects are created which play with ones visual perception and the surrounding space.

Two glass specialists allowed the designers to play around and experiment in their factories to investigate new possibilities.

Presented is the first edition of an ongoing study into optical effects created with glass as the primary material.
