Paris
During the whirlwind week of FIAC 2013, Paris also hosted SPOT, a unique creative collaboration between Galleria Nilufar (Milan), Balice Hertling (Paris) and Giò Marconi Gallery (Milan), under the art direction of Nina Yashar.
In the luxurious and historical setting of a 16th century Hôtel Particulier, SPOT showcased Nina Yashar’s visionary eclecticism through a meeting of contemporary works with historical design and art pieces.
The Hôtel de Miramion, at 47 Quai de la Tournelle, was the location of the “artistic occupation”.
The building, attributed to François Mansart, one of the founders of Baroque Classicism, is the perfect home for this adventure that questions the boundaries in current curatorial practice and creates a new space for the exhibition of these works of art and design.
Conceived by Nina Yashar, with Daniele Balice as art consultant, this unique display filled over fifteen rooms in this stunning Hôtel Particulier, with each gallery showing some of the most original works of its artists.
