11 November '12 - 17 February '13
Brussels
On its tenth anniversary, the MAC’s is dedicating its autumn exhibition to science-fiction. The event, entitled S.F. [Art, science & fiction] is a collective exhibition which encompasses many disciplines of contemporary art and design
The exhibition, curated by Denis Gielen, aims to explore the links between fine arts, design and science-fiction. It will present works and documents coming from various aesthetic currents and cultural movements: for example, a visitor will find both modern artists who have speculated on scientific concepts like the fourth dimension, and post-modern or contemporary artists and designers who reinterpret popular myths like Superman.
