Marking the launch of Embankment Galleries at the Somerset House, Skin + Bones
is the first major international exhibition devoted to the complex relationship between fashion and architecture.
Examining the visual and conceptual ideas that unite these two disciplines, the exhibition features more than 200 works by over 50 internationally renowned architects and fashion designers including Future Systems, Zaha Hadid, OMA, Issey Miyake, Vivienne Westwood and Yohji Yamamoto.
Somerset House is the final venue on the exhibition’s international tour which opened to critical acclaim at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art and moved to The National Art Center Tokyo, Japan.
