NYC
Egg Collective, named “Best New Designer” this spring at the 2012 International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), is an all female - Brooklyn-based - design company committed to building American-made furniture.
The 2012 collection balances hard geometric forms, delicate proportions, and natural materials.
The designers were inspired by, “rocks, flow- ers, quarries, a particular picture of a fawn, as well as the use of materials and detailing in traditional furniture.” Egg Collectives’s inaugural collec- tion weaves together simple yet sculptural elements, with rich materials and impeccable craft.
