In their new gallery space uniquely devoted to Design La Galerie de Pierre Bergé & associés presents Witness Flat, an exhibition of newly commissioned work by Jurgen Bey.
At the request of the gallery Bey has created 20 new pieces in wood and felt and has transformed the exhibition space into a temporary apartment giving the illusion of being in a show flat.
With plenty of room for experiment Bey designed an assortment of furniture, including a sofa with hand-sewn cushions, and a set of six dining chairs in wood and felt - which appear identical but are all different weights - each suggesting a world where things are not as they seem.
The pieces will be on sale throughout the exhibition.
